1. General Safety
LostnReturned products are designed for everyday use on personal belongings to help reconnect you with lost items. They are not safety devices and should be used responsibly.
Please keep in mind:
- LostnReturned products are not toys. Some products contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 3 years — please refer to the product-specific guidance below
- Children should use LostnReturned products, or belongings with LostnReturned products attached or applied, under appropriate supervision, taking into account the child’s age and intended use
- Do not place products in the mouth or allow chewing
- Products are primarily designed for use on belongings and are not intended for direct contact with skin unless explicitly stated (for example, wearable items such as lanyards)
- You are responsible for ensuring the product is suitable for your intended use and checking it is in good condition before each use
- Inspect before use and regularly. Do not use if damaged
- Discontinue use immediately if any item becomes damaged, broken, cracked, or develops sharp edges
- If irritation or discomfort occurs, discontinue use immediately
2. Stickers – Safety & Use
LostnReturned stickers are designed for use on clean, dry, smooth, non-porous surfaces such as bags, bottles, luggage, laptops, tablets, phones, and other everyday belongings.
Important:
- LostnReturned products are recovery aids only and are not safety devices
- This product is not a toy and is not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts
- Keep unused stickers out of reach of young children
- Where used on children’s belongings, adult supervision should take account of the child’s age and intended use
- Stickers are not designed for application to skin
- Do not apply over safety labels, warnings or operating instructions
- Avoid contact with eyes. If adhesive comes into contact with the eyes, rinse gently with clean water and seek medical advice if irritation persists
- Inspect before use and regularly. Do not use if damaged
Use & Care:
- Apply only to clean, dry, smooth, non-porous surfaces to ensure proper adhesion
- If you are unsure how a surface will react to the adhesive, test on a small, inconspicuous area before full application
- Wipe clean or rinse briefly. Replace stickers if damaged, unreadable or beginning to lift.
- Avoid soaking, dishwashers, excessive heat and heavy friction.
3. Key Ring – Safety & Use
The LostnReturned Key Ring is designed for holding keys and small everyday items. It is a recovery aid only and is not a safety device.
Important:
- This product is not a toy and is not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts
- Contains small metal components (choking hazard)
- Keep away from young children
- Do not place in the mouth or allow chewing
Use & Care:
- Ensure the split ring is securely fitted before use
- Take care during attachment to avoid pinching or scratching
- Keep clean and dry
- Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat or harsh chemicals
- Inspect before use and regularly. Do not use if damaged
4. Luggage Tag – Safety & Use
The LostnReturned Luggage Tag is designed to be attached to bags and luggage. It is a recovery aid only and is not a safety device.
Important:
- Contains small parts (choking hazard)
- Not intended to be worn on the body
- This product is not a toy and is not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts
- Keep away from young children
Use & Care:
- Use the supplied screw-lock luggage tag loop as intended
- Ensure the screw-lock luggage tag loop is securely fastened before travel
- Do not allow children to chew or play with the tag or attachment
- Keep clean and dry
- Replace if the loop or tag shows signs of wear or damage
- Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat or harsh chemicals
- Inspect before use and regularly. Do not use if damaged
5. Wallet Card – Safety & Use
The LostnReturned Wallet Card is designed to be carried inside wallets, purses, card holders, or bags. It is a recovery aid only and is not a safety device.
Important:
- This product is not a toy and is not suitable for children under 3 years
- Keep away from young children
Use & Care:
- Do not chew or place in the mouth
- Keep the card inside your wallet, purse or bag with the ‘If I’m lost, scan me’ message visible.
- Avoid bending or excessive force
- Keep clean and dry
- Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat or harsh chemicals
- Inspect before use and regularly. Do not use if damaged
6. Pet Tag – Safety & Use
The LostnReturned Pet Tag is designed to be attached to pet collars or harnesses to help identify and reconnect pets with their owner if they become lost. It is a recovery aid and not a tracking or safety device.
Important:
- This product is not a toy and is not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts
- Contains small parts (choking hazard)
- Designed for use on pet collars and harnesses only
- Keep away from young children
Use & Care:
- Not designed for chewing
- Ensure the split ring is securely fitted before use
- Ensure the tag is securely attached to a suitable collar or harness before use
- Keep clean and dry
- Replace if worn or damaged
- Check the attachment and condition regularly, especially for active pets
- Avoid use in environments where the tag may become caught or snagged
- Inspect before use and regularly. Do not use if damaged
7. Recovery ID Tag – Safety & Use
The LostnReturned Recovery ID Tag is designed to help reunite someone who becomes separated from a parent, guardian, carer or other responsible person. It is a recovery aid and not a safety device.
This product helps with reconnection only — it does not prevent wandering, injury, or loss.
Important:
- This product is not a toy and is not suitable for children under 3 years
- Contains small parts (choking hazard)
- Designed for use with the LostnReturned Recovery ID Lanyard or another suitable attachment
- Keep away from young children
Use & Care:
- Ensure the tag is securely attached before use
- Avoid use in environments where the product may become caught or snagged
- Replace the tag if cracked, broken or otherwise damaged.
- Keep clean and dry
- Inspect before use and regularly. Do not use if damaged

8. Recovery ID Lanyard – Safety & Use
The LostnReturned Recovery ID Lanyard is an adjustable, wearable lanyard designed to hold the Recovery ID Tag, helping someone who becomes separated to be identified and reconnected with a parent, guardian, carer or other responsible person. It is a recovery aid and not a safety device.
⚠️ Warning: Strangulation hazard. Improper use may result in serious injury.
Important:
- This product is not a toy and is not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts
- Always use the breakaway clasp as designed
- A breakaway clasp does not eliminate the risk of strangulation or injury
- Only use the lanyard with the original breakaway clasp provided. Do not replace or modify the clasp
- Do not modify, tie, tape, replace, or disable the breakaway mechanism
- Do not use during sleep or unsupervised rest
- Avoid use in environments where it may become caught or snagged
- Keep away from moving machinery, playground equipment (e.g. climbing frames), sports activities, or high-snag environments
Use & Care:
- When used by someone requiring support, the lanyard should be fitted and checked by a parent, guardian, carer or other responsible person
- Parents, guardians, carers or other responsible persons are responsible for ensuring safe use and assessing suitability for the individual’s needs and environment
- This product is not a substitute for appropriate supervision
- Do not use as a toy, jewellery, or for play
- Do not allow wrapping, swinging, or pulling around the neck
- Where appropriate, ensure the wearer understands how to wear and remove the lanyard safely
- Keep clean and dry
- Store out of reach of young children when not in use
- Ensure the breakaway clasp is functioning correctly before each use
- Replace the lanyard if the breakaway clasp no longer functions correctly or if any part becomes damaged
- Inspect before use and regularly. Do not use if damaged
- If irritation occurs where the lanyard contacts the skin, discontinue use

9. Metal Components & Loops
Some products include metal components such as split rings, stainless steel loops, and tag attachments.

- Take care during attachment to avoid pinching or scratching
- Keep out of reach of young children
- Inspect before use and regularly. Do not use if damaged
10. Care & Maintenance
To keep your products safe and effective:
- You are responsible for checking that the product and all attachments are correctly fitted, secure, and free from damage before use
- Ensure all attachments (e.g. loops, rings, clasps) remain secure and correctly fitted during use
- Inspect items regularly for signs of wear or damage
- Replace or dispose of damaged components immediately
- Keep products clean and dry
- Store out of reach of young children when not in use
11. Disposal
- Dispose of damaged or worn items safely and promptly
- Keep small parts away from children and pets
- Recycle metal components where facilities exist
- Dispose of plastics and mixed materials in accordance with local regulations
